The Kazimierskie Wzg\u00f3rza vineyards<\/strong> are situated at altitudes of 175\u2013214 metres<\/strong> above sea level, on loess hills with a limestone subsoil, within the distinctive landscape of loess ravines<\/strong>. The loess soils, which are well-drained and slightly alkaline, are characterised by a high content of minerals and silica, which promotes a balance between water and air and moderate water stress \u2013 key factors for the concentration of aromas and structure in the fruit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The proximity of the Vistula River shapes the region\u2019s distinctive mesoclimate: high levels of sunshine, significant daily temperature fluctuations and moderate humidity. The varied exposures of the slopes and the microclimates of the ravines influence heat accumulation and the rate at which the grapes ripen, determining their level of phenolic and aromatic ripeness. The synergy of loess, limestone bedrock, slope gradients and the influence of the river valley creates a distinctive terroir, conducive to the production of wines with a mineral character, an intense aromatic profile and a balanced acidity-tannin structure<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The vineyard\u2019s uniqueness<\/strong> also stems from the diversity of its plots: Wyl\u0105gi, Skowieszynek and Jeziorszczyzna<\/strong>, situated on slopes with varying gradients, exposures and thermal conditions. Each plot is managed individually, taking into account the specific characteristics of the soil, microclimate and varietal potential. The basis of the work in the vineyard is a regenerative and precise cultivation model, which minimises interference with the soil, supports soil microbiology and maintains the biological balance of the habitat.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The same grape varieties \u2014 including Chardonnay and Solaris<\/strong> \u2014 grown on different plots exhibit distinct differences in the acidity profile, extract content and aromatic profile of the grapes. Our work in the vineyard is based on regenerative viticulture, understood as a method of vine cultivation that not only makes use of nature\u2019s resources but also supports the restoration of soil life, biodiversity and the natural balance of the ecosystem. This approach involves working with nature rather than trying to correct it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In practice, this means minimal disturbance of the soil, developing ground cover between the rows, caring for the soil\u2019s microbial life, and focusing our efforts on the health of the vine rather than on maximising yield. We deliberately reduce the yield \u2013 limiting the number of fruits on the vine so that the plant\u2019s energy is focused on developing the aroma, structure and balance within the bunches.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
